Basic A+ shows up to 5 modules per product page. Standard modules have no separate mobile image; Amazon scales the desktop image.

File rules
- File: JPG, PNG or BMP, under 2 MB, RGB, at least 72 dpi.
- Not allowed: animated GIFs, CMYK, watermarks, QR codes, links and contact details.
- Content: no prices or discounts, no time references like “new” or “2026”, no guarantees, no comparisons with other brands, no copies of gallery images.
- Allowed and recommended: comparison charts with your own products and alt text for every image.
- Approval: up to 7 business days, live within 24 hours after that.
Frequently asked questions
What image size does Amazon A+ content need?
It depends on the module. Wide banners are 970 × 300 or 970 × 600 pixels in Basic A+, and 1,464 × 600 pixels in Premium A+ with a separate 600 × 450 mobile image. Tiles are mostly 300 × 300. The tables above list every module.
What is the max file size for A+ images?
Under 2 MB per image, as JPG, PNG or BMP in RGB, at least 72 dpi. Animated GIFs, CMYK, watermarks and QR codes are not allowed.
How many modules does A+ content have?
Basic A+ allows 5 modules per product page out of 14 module types, Premium A+ 7 modules out of 19 types. Basic and Premium modules can't be mixed in one content.
Who can use Premium A+?
According to Amazon there are no additional eligibility criteria anymore. You need a registered brand and the ASINs must belong to it. Basic and Premium cost nothing extra.
What are the Brand Story sizes?
The required background image is 1,464 × 625 pixels on desktop and 463 × 625 on mobile. Image cards are 362 × 453, the logo in About the Brand 315 × 145, product images 166 × 182.
How long does A+ approval take?
Amazon reviews for up to 7 business days and publishes within 24 hours of approval. At most 20 submissions can be pending at the same time.
